Base width and vase count are the only differences between these three stones; all share the same 24-inch-wide, 6-inch-thick, 24-inch-tall granite tablet.

A 40-inch base needs more plot width than a 36-inch base, so measure your space first. Prices include the granite, base, and engraving; installation and cemetery setting fees are separate.

Stone Colors Available in This Size

Five granite colors are available for this upright: Bahama Blue, Black, Grey, Pink, and Red. Darker Black and Bahama Blue give sandblasted engraving strong contrast, while lighter Grey and Pink rely on shadow and polish for a softer, more traditional look; red granite headstones add a warmer tone some families choose to reflect heritage or personality. Before You Order: Confirm Your Cemetery's Rules

Confirm with your cemetery, in writing, that a 24x6x24 upright on a 36-inch or 40-inch base is allowed in your section, since cemeteries set their own rules on size, foundation, colour, and plot-number placement, and each charges its own setting fee. The FTC Funeral Rule protects families buying from a funeral home, but it does not apply to cemeteries, so acceptance comes down to that cemetery's own policy (FTC Funeral Rule guide); Monument Builders of North America is a useful resource for general memorial standards and consumer questions.
